Training

Is your training centre open?

Yes! The training centre is open for delivery of all our courses, however, we will still be offering our established remote live classroom training, just check the date you want to attend to see the location. As you would expect we remain Covid Secure and we have a full risk assessment in place.

What additional measures do you have in place?

It goes without saying that the safety of our visitors and team members is of paramount importance. To ensure everyone’s safety there are a range of measures that we have established and will remain in place post 19th July for a period of time:

2m physical distancing in classrooms

Reduced course delegate numbers 

Restricted access to the Training Centre for immediate staff and training delegates only

Segregated parking for use of the Training Centre immediately opposite the building ( please park one space away from each other where possible)

Refreshment breaks taken in the classroom to maintain social distancing / Individual pre-ordered packed lunches

Temperature checks on arrival daily

Clean desk policy at end of each day to allow deep cleaning of surfaces

Robust cleaning regimes and sanitisers / wipes throughout the building

Additional sanitisation of communal areas throughout the day to reduce contamination

Sanitisation of any components/equipment used throughout training

We request you bring your own PPE (gloves, overalls, safety glasses and safety shoes) for your own personal use

 

Do I need to wear a face covering?

We have adequate 2m physical distancing in the main classroom so face coverings are not required unless it is your preference. We will ask you to use them in communal areas and when working in the practical areas and boilerhouse.

Are you accepting bookings for the remainder of the year?

Absolutely, we are still available to discuss and book future course dates; in fact we would encourage you to make a booking to secure your place as soon as you can. We have reviewed the courses scheduled for the remainder of the year and current dates are available on the website. This also include some remote live classroom options and some blended learning options. We will ensure we keep you up to date should any further changes be necessary.

If my course was postponed during lockdown what happens now?

If your course date has already been postponed then we will have made contact with you or your booker to make alternative arrangements for later in the year. If you have not heard from us then please call us on 01242 535211 or email training@uk.spiraxsarco.com.

Will there be any cancellation or postponement fees?

In line with our cancellation policy there will be no charges for postponing the dates to later in the year. Please note that for BOAS and BOAS Renewal courses if your postponement/cancellation is within 14 days the CEA may levy an additional assessment fee which we will need to pass on.
We recommend that all travel and accommodation bookings are made on a flexible basis to allow for any further changes outside of our control.

What about delivering at my site?

Yes we can come to your site, depending on your companies access stipulations and subject to your facilities enabling us to maintain the 2m physical distancing requirements in the training room being used. This option remains available for essential training requirements. Contact us and we can discuss in more detail.
