System Optimisation

Who?

El Rashidi El Mizan is one of the oldest factories in Egypt with over a century of expertise in the Halawa and Tahina markets.

The Objective

As strategic partners, we share the common goal of developing and delivering optimised systems to end customers.

We provide bespoke, non-standard technical solutions tailored to their specific needs.

What We Did

Step 1: Halawa Bar Line Renovation

Replaced all defective pressure-reducing valves, and fixed or replaced leaking and missing steam traps.

Removed the old condensate tank and redirected condensate directly to the feed tank.

Step 2: Automation and Renovation of the Sesame Toaster

Automated the steam network using Modulating Control Valves and a PLC Control System.

Step 3: Condensate Recovery and Steam Asset Renovation for the Jam Factory

Installed new pressure-reducing valves, replaced leaking and missing steam traps, and set up a new mechanical condensate recovery system.

Result

  • More efficient use of energy and water resources, contributing to sustainability goals
  • Improved production quality and reduced total cost of ownership
  • Easier fault-finding and lower consumption
