Job Description

Role Overview:

The purpose of the Italy Supply General Manager is to enable sales growth, through the leadership, engagement, power and performance of our people, teams and assets. It leverages the capabilities of our global network and ensures we are delivering upon our strategic intent. The GM orchestrates, leverages and balances multiple elements of performance across the supply chain to build a sustainable, profitable and engaged organisation.

The role is accountable for the Supply business plan and P&L delivery for Italy Supply and reports to the Regional General Manager – EMEA Supply Chain as part of the GSC.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…

  • Delivering a world class Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability culture across Italy Supply. Implement and maintain the BBS roadmap and all policy guidelines.
  • Enabling sales growth by developing our business operations and processes though continuous improvement across Italy Supply while delivering the business plan and P&L and contribution to EMEA results.
  • Directing and leading the Strategy Deployment to ensure achievement of Customer First 2, One Planet and Strategic Initiative 6, enabling sales growth through a responsive and sustainable network. Including, Digitalisation, Future Factory, Manufacturing Strategy
  • Challenging and championing the importance of Quality, building strong culture, capability, and processes to accelerate resolution of quality issues via the CAPA/8D approach.
  • Driving and championing inclusion, leads the employee engagement programme, to improve engagement, inclusion equity and wellbeing of all employees and ensure subsequent actions are progressed.
  • Being accountable for the annual planning and execution responsibilities, driving growth and profitability.
  • Responsibility for ensuring conformity to all internal audit programmes
  • Taking a regional mindset to drive common approaches and best practices across the EMEA Supply Units in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost.
  • Being an active member of the EMEA and GSC leadership forum and collaborating with the Steam network
  • This role shall also partner with the local Italian leadership team with shared legal responsibility with the Sales GM of SXS Italy.

Your previous experience is likely to include….

  • Extensive senior management experience across a broad range of supply chain operations.
  • Experience in strategy development and deployment process to ensure achievement of multiple work streams across supply chain excellence, sales growth enablement. Vision for digitally enabled factories, developing engineering solution capability and sustainability is an advantage.
  • Delivery of a change management within an organisation which has multiple projects in progress.
  • Developing the ability to manage and develop teams through significant transitions, improving engagement.
  • Developing the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with multiple senior stakeholders, peers, teams.
