Field Service Engineer – Roma

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to cover service needs especially in the Central Italy area (Lazio, Marche, Abruzzo, Bassa Toscana), but potentially the Service Technician could be called to service anywhere in Italy or abroad.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting daily repair service needs and customer satisfaction.
  • Installation and commissioning.
  • Maintenance, service work and timely submission of documents.
  • Review all logs for open issues and prepare formal reports to customers as needed.
  • Ensures that test tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Evaluate product/equipment performance based on field support data; recommend changes or improvements.
  • Seeks to provide technical support to customers and other service professionals as required.
  • Can participate in on-site surveys and on-site meetings.
  • Travel (Italy and abroad), overtime and different working hours from Monday to Friday may be required.
  • Comply with and ensure compliance with company health, safety and environmental policies.

Seniority:

  • At least 2 years previous experience providing field engineering services or previous experience within electrical services, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems equipment.

PLUS:

  • The resource must be able to demonstrate solid electronic, electrical and mechanical knowledge and maintain a high technical level of product knowledge.
  • Must be team oriented and flexible and actively seek to share information and assist colleagues.
  • Must have strong customer service skills and have the ability to confidently interact with customers and be able to provide equipment and product training.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Maximum flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
