Installation and Maintenance Instructions
Our patented Powerpivots do away with troublesome pins and linkages. What’s more—our exclusive damper lengthens valve and seat life by using the hydraulic inertia of the collected condensate to reduce mechanical shock as the valve actuators shift.
The PN9000 series actuators are a compact range of linear actuators that are available in 3 diaphragm sizes for matching the requirements of valves at various differential pressures.
The Spirax Sarco 600 and 900 series alloy steel inverted bucket steam traps are designed for installation in vertical pipework between flanges. They are suitable for a wide range of pressures and applications and include an integral check valve on the inlet.
The type MSC forged steel manifolds centralize steam distribution and condensate collection for up to 12 sources. Both models have integral piston valves with a variety of connections, making them particularly well suited for tracing applications.
The Drip Pan Elbow is to be connected to the discharge connection of the Safety/Relief Valve by a short pipe nipple. Flanged valves 4” and smaller will require a companion flange and short nipple the same size as the valve outlet. The drain connection on the bottom of the elbow should be piped to waste.
The USTS-II Universal steam trap station is designed to have inlet and outlet isolation valves, a integral strainer with blowdown and test valve. Designed as a complete steam main drip or tracer steam trap station. The station will support all of the Spirax Sarco universal connection steam traps.
The PC3001, PC3000 and PC30 range of pipeline connectors are designed for use with two bolt universal swivel connector steam traps. Incorporating one integral piston stop valve it is possible to isolate upstream of the steam trap.
The trap contains a float valve mechanism which modulates to discharge condensate continuously at steam temperature, while non-condensible gases are released by a separate internal balanced pressure thermostatic air vent.
