The SIB45 is an all stainless steel sealed inverted bucket steam trap. It is provided with pressure change assemblies for pressure differentials between 0.5 and 45 bar. Traps for 45 bar are provided with an in-built check valve as standard.
The 25T is a self actuated pilot-operated temperature regulating valve. The temperature pilot has a calibrated dial for accurate temperature setting,
Thermostatic steam air vents sense the temperature difference between steam and non-condensible vapors to operate a valve head. The vent is wide open when cold providing a free access for non-condensibles and air to be removed from the system.
The trap contains a float valve mechanism which modulates to discharge condensate continuously at steam temperature, while non-condensible gases are released by a separate internal balanced pressure thermostatic air vent.
Installation and Maintenance Instructions
Our patented Powerpivots do away with troublesome pins and linkages. What’s more—our exclusive damper lengthens valve and seat life by using the hydraulic inertia of the collected condensate to reduce mechanical shock as the valve actuators shift.
The Spirax Sarco 600 and 900 series alloy steel inverted bucket steam traps are designed for installation in vertical pipework between flanges. They are suitable for a wide range of pressures and applications and include an integral check valve on the inlet.
The type MSC forged steel manifolds centralize steam distribution and condensate collection for up to 12 sources. Both models have integral piston valves with a variety of connections, making them particularly well suited for tracing applications.
The Drip Pan Elbow is to be connected to the discharge connection of the Safety/Relief Valve by a short pipe nipple. Flanged valves 4” and smaller will require a companion flange and short nipple the same size as the valve outlet. The drain connection on the bottom of the elbow should be piped to waste.
