The Spirax Sarco Direct In-line Variable Area flowmeter (DIVA) has been designed as an ideal system for any steam energy management scheme or steam flowmetering application, from monitoring and targeting initiatives to control applications. The low cost integrated unit offers high turndown and simple digital commissioning without the need for additional equipment or differential pressure transmitters.

This compact steam heat exchange unit covers a wide range of domestic and process hot water duties from 110 kW to 1800 kW. The skid mounted core unit, which occupies only 1.2 m³ of space, incorporates precisely matched components based around an Alfa Laval TS6M plate heat exchanger.

The FTS14 is an austenitic stainless steel ball float trap with an integral automatic air vent suitable for use on steam systems up to 14 bar. The trap offers excellent corrosion resistance and a positive aesthetic appearance. It is suitable for sterilizers, autoclaves and heat exchangers.

The BT6 316L stainless steel balanced pressure steam trap is specifically designed for hygienic applications including sterilizers and autoclaves. The body is crevice free, self draining and available with a surface finish of up to 0.4 µm (16 micro-inch Ra). A high capacity version is available.

The APT has been designed to remove condensate from steam heat exchangers and process plant under all operating conditions, and forms an integral part of the condensate removal process.

The compact unit operates like a steam trap but switches to active pumping mode if the system pressure falls below the total back pressure (stall conditions). Two options are available: the APT10-4.5 for loads up to 1 500 kg/h; and the APT14 or APT14HC - for loads up to 9 000 kg/h.

The CSF16 steam filter is a horizontal, in-line high efficiency filter used to remove contaminate particles from steam. The filter housing is available in 304 or 316L stainless steel. The housing is externally polished with an internal natural finish.

During formation in the boiler, steam leaves behind impurities (TDS - total dissolved solids). If left these concentrate. High TDS results in plant & production problems, low TDS results in increased fuel & chemical treatment costs. Accurate blowdown methods are therefore essential maintain your steam quality. Spirax Sarco produce a range of automatic boiler water TDS control systems which constantly monitor the TDS level of the boiler water and effect blowdown when necessary.
