Component Descriptions

Part Component Function
1 Isolating Valve to isolate the installation from the supply steam
2 Strainer to protect the installation from detritus
3 Hi-limit Valve to protect the calorifier from an overtemperature
4 Control Valve to control the flow of steam at the required pressure
5 Control System to operate the control valve
6 Vacuum Breaker to assist condensate removal from the steam coil at stall
7 Sensor Pocket to allow the sensor to be withdrawn without draining the calorifier
8 Hi-limit Control System to shut the hi-limit valve on an overtemperature condition
9 Sensor Pocket to allow the sensor to be withdrawn without draining the calorifier
10 Hi-limit Actuator to shut the hi-limit valve on an overtemperature condition
11 - 15 inc. Calorifier Steam Coil Steam Trap Set  
16 Isolating Valve to isolate the vacuum breaker for maintenance
