Component Descriptions

Part Component Function
1 Isolation valve to isolate the installation from the steam supply
2 Separator to protect the installation from wet steam
3 Strainer to protect the control valve from detritus
4 Hi-limit Control Valve to protect the installation from overtemperature
5 Pressure Gauge to monitor the steam supply pressure
6 Pressure Reducing Valve to reduce pressure to the system
7 Pressure Gauge to monitor the reducing valve set pressure
8 Safety Valve to protect the downstream equipment from overpressure
9 Electronic Controller to signal the control valve to move position
10 Pneumatic Actuator to drive the control valve
11 E/P Positioner to position the valve correctly at all loads
12 Vacuum Breaker to assist condensate removal from the heater at stall conditions
13 Air Vent to vent air from the heat exchanger steam supply
14 Isolation Valve to isolate the air vent & vacuum breaker from the steam supply
15 Hi-limit Sensor to sense the secondary water for overtempertaure
16 Pneumatic Actuator to drive the control valve
17 Electronic Controller to signal the control valve to move position
18 Temperature Sensor to sense the secondary water for temperature
19 Isolation Valve to isolate the secondary flow from the 3 way control valve
20 3 Way Control Valve to mix the secondary return with the heat exchanger flow
21 Balancing Valve to balance the flow in the bypass with the heat exchanger
22 - 27 inc. Separator Steam Trap Set  
28 Hi-limit Cut Out to close the hi-limit valve shut on overtemperature
29 - 34 inc. Heat Exchanger Steam Trap Set  
35 Isolation Valve to isolate the secondary return from the heat exchanger
36 Temperature Sensor to sense the secondary water temperature
37 Isolation Valve to monitor the set pressure of the reducing valve
38 Control Valve to regulate the steam flow to the heat exchanger
39 Pressure Gauge to monitor the pressure to the heat exchanger
40 E/P Positioner to position the valve correctly at all loads
41 Plate Heat Exchanger to heat the secondary liquid
