Health, Safety & Environmental Policy
Spirax Sarco Ltd operates a Health, Safety & Environmental Management System that as a minimum meets the requirements of BS OHSAS18001: 2007 & ISO14001: 2004 and have set the following aims:
- Meet or, where practical, exceed all UK legislative, regulatory and other requirements appropriate to our business.
- Identify the significant health & safety risks & environmental impacts of our company's activities.
- Aim to continually improve the health, safety & environmental performance of our company by setting objectives, targets and processes.
- Promote optimum and efficient use of resources and energy.
- Work towards the reduction or elimination of health & safety risks and any potential or actual pollution.
- Raise the awareness and understanding of all staff about the company's health, safety & environmental policy and maintain awareness of health, safety & environmental issues and related matters.
- Provide interested parties with relevant and appropriate information and establish open and on-going dialogue.
- Ensure these aims are achieved by the use of appropriate processes that will be monitored, audited, reviewed and improved if necessary.
- The top management of Spirax Sarco Ltd fully commit to the policy described above, and will provide adequate resources to maintain compliance.
