Component Descriptions

Part Component Function
1 Isolating Valve to isolate the feedwater system from the feedtank
2 Electric Actuator to actuate the control valve
3 PID Controller to move the actuator relative to the boiler water level
4 Check Valve to prevent boiler water backfeeding into feed water line
5 Signal Amplifier to condition the signal to the level controller
6 Level Probe to sense the water level in the boiler
7 Control Valve to regulate the flow of feedwater to the boiler
8 Ball Valve to regulate the spillback flow to the feedtank
9 Strainer to protect the pump and control valve from detritus
