TVA Flowmeters

Good accuracy over 50 to 1 Turndown.  This is combined with inbuilt density compensation giving an exceptionally simple and compact installation requiring only 6 straight diameters upstream and 3 straight diameters downstream.   The compact simplicity of the TVA’s design means that purchase and installation costs are exceptionally low.

Operates using the Target Variable Area Principle:- As flowrate increases, a profiled cone is deflected against a precision spring which applies force onto an inbuilt measurement sensor. 

This, along with measurements from an inbuilt temperature sensor, is used to calculate the density compensated flowrate.
