Component Descriptions

Part Component Function
1 Separator to protect the installation from wet steam
2 Ball Valve to isolate the installation from the steam supply
3 Strainer to protect the redcing valve from detritus
4 Pressure Gauge to monitor the supply pressure
5 Reducing Valve to reduce pressure for the process
6 Pressure Gauge to set the reducing valve pressure
7 Safety Valve to protect the downstream equipment from overpressure
8 Ball Valve to set the reducing valve pressure
9 Steam Filter to clean the steam to the required filtered standards
10 Sanitary Ball Valve to isolate the installation from the downstream system
11 & 15 inc. Ball Valve to isolate the installation from the downstream system
16 Thermodynamic Steam Trap to drain the filter of condensate
17 Sanitary Ball Valve to isolate the sample cooler from the supply
18 Sample Cooler to sample and test the steam quality
