Component Descriptions

Part   Component Function
1 Separator to protect the installation from wet steam
2 Isolating Valve to isolate the installation from the supply steam
3 Air Regulator to regulate the air pressure to the valve positioner
4 Strainer to protect the installation from detritus
5 Pressure Gauge to monitor the supply steam pressure
6 E/P Valve Positioner to ensure the valve operates accurately at all loads
7 Pneumatic Actuator to drive the control valve
8 Control Valve to control the flow of steam at the required pressure
9 Safety Valve to protect the downstream equipment from overpressure
10 Electronic Controller to control the valve
11 Pressure Gauge to monitor the downstream pressure
12 Pressure Transmitter to transmit an electronic pressure signal to the controller
13 Isolating Valve to set the reducing valve at no load condition
