This photograph was taken in May 2002 at a seminar conducted by our Regional Sales Representative – Kevin Woolley, ably assisted by our Distributor for British Columbia – Dierks Equipment Sales.
Regional seminars are an important part of Spirax Sarco Canada’s support of its customers employee education program, sharing the steam system knowledge gained and thereby encouraging the proper use of steam.
These customer seminars are carried out throughout Canada on a regular basis and can be customized to suit the particular needs of the attendees. | Spirax Sarco Canada has been providing service since 1932.
In 1932, during the early Spirax and Sarco years, these companies set out to serve users of both steam and hot water process and heating systems. The products supplied in those days comprised steam traps and temperature controls. Yet the overwhelming aspect of doing business was in offering service. That is to say Spirax and Sarco offered more than just product. Most companies today can offer good products at fair value and delivered on time. However, most offer their products through various resale channels that may or may not have the necessary expertise. We originated the phrase "Spirax Sarco Spoken Here," a humorous way of saying that the name of Spirax Sarco is synonymous with steam and other process fluid technology. Technology that is freely available to anyone involved with process systems anywhere in the world.

| Although we may not have all of the answers, we have access to a wealth of knowledge and experience. We undertake steam system surveys, offer customer seminars and produce a broad range of literature, application and hook-up books as well as software to make the task of running or maintaining a process system that much easier. Often this literature and support is free of charge, and even when we do have to have to charge for these services, the cost is nominal and not expected to be profitable.

| We help by having engineering staff available to assist our customers with design, proper install tion and advise on the operation of an effective process system. Our sales staff and the staff of our distributors are fully trained to identify where improvements can be made and our engineering staff will ensure that the solution will work properly. |

| Our company is proud to have survived for almost a century, in a dynamic, helpful and commercially profitable way. By dynamic, we mean we have continually provided innovative products to meet the needs of our customers. To reduce energy costs, to improve production, or simply to make a process easier to operate and maintain. |

| To stay in business we need to be commercially profitable. It is important to recognize this and while we provide the service to help our customers become more profitable, we in turn must charge a fair and reasonable price for our products to remain profitable. Ask yourself why you would wish to buy a "brand name" product, when there may be many copy-cat or generic products available to you. The answer, of course, is because you can rely on the quality, reliability and long term support from the company that manufactured it. Having been in business for almost a century is proof, if proof were needed, that Spirax Sarco is here to stay and will continue to provide the highest level of service which most steam users have come to recognize and rely on. |
