Component Descriptions

Part Component Function
1 Separator to protect the installation from wet steam
2 Isolation Valve to isolate the installation from the steam supply
3 Strainer to protect the control valve from detritus
4 Pressure Gauge to monitor the steam supply pressure to the reducing valve
5 Pressure Reducing Valve to reduce steam pressure to suit the platen press
6 Safety Valve to protect the downstream equipment from overpressure
7 Pressure Gauge to monitor the reduced steam pressure on the platen
8 Isolation Valve to set the reducing valce on no-load conditions
9 - 13 inc. Separator Trap Set  
14 Thermodynamic Steam Trap to drain the platen sections
15 Check Valve to prevent backflow of condensate into the platen sections
16 - 19 inc. Platen Steam Inlet Trap Set
