Component Descriptions

Part Component Function
1 Isolation valve to isolate the installation from the steam and condensate systems
2 Separator to protect the installation from wet steam
3 Pressure Gauge to monitor the reducing valve set pressure
4 Control Valve to protect the installation from overtemperature
5 Reducing Valve to reduce pressure to the system
6 Pressure Gauge to monitor the reducing valve set pressure
7 Air Regulator to supply the positioner with air at the correct pressure
8 Electronic Controller to signal the control valve to move position
9 Isolation Valve to isolate the installation from the steam and condensate systems
10 Pneumatic Actuator to drive the control valve
11 E/P Positioner to position the valve correctly at all loads
12 Control Valve to regulate the flow of steam to the heat exchanger
13 Safety Valve to protect the downstream equipment from overpressure
14 Pressure Gauge to monitor the reducing valve set pressure
15 Plate Heat Exchanger to heat the secondary fluid from steam in the primary circuit
16 Hi Limit Control System to control the hi-limit shut-off valve
17 Temperature Sensor to sense the secondary water temperature
18 Ball Valve to isolate the various systems
19 Disc Check Valve to prevent backflow of fluid
20 Ball Float Steam Trap with Monitor to remove condensate as and when it forms
21 Strainer to protect the control valve from detritus
22 Ball Valve to isolate the various systems
23 Hi-limit Cut-out to close the hi-limit valve shut on overtemperature
24 Ball Valve to isolate the various systems
25 Strainer to protect the control valve from detritus
26 Ball Valve to isolate the various systems
27 Disc Check Valve to prevent backflow of fluid
28 Ball Float Steam Trap with Monitor to remove condensate as and when it forms

31 Automatic Pump to remove condensate under stall conditions
