Component Descriptions

Part   Component Function
1 - 5 inc. Separator Steam Trap Set  
6 Separator to protect the installation from wet steam
7 Air Vent to purge air from the separator during start-up
8 Isolating Valve to isolate the air vent for maintenance purposes
9 Isolating Valve to isolate the reducing station from the supply steam
10 Strainer to protect the reducing valve from detritus
11 Pressure Gauge to monitor the upstream pressure of the reducing valve
12 Reducing Valve to reduce the high pressure supply to a low pressure
13 Safety Valve to protect the downstream equipment from overpressure
14 Water Seal Pot to protect the reducing valve diaphragm from steam temperature
15 Pressure Gauge to monitor the downstream pressure of the reducing valve
16 Isolating Valve to set the reducing valve on a no load condition
